Hi,
My FIM Configuration is as below and has 2 Windows 2008 R2 servers
Domain Controller (Server 1)
Windows Server 2008 R2
FIM Server (Server 2)
Windows Server 2008 R2
FIM Service/Synch Service
FIM Web portal
Sharepoint
I am working on this technet exercise: Intro to UG management
http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ee534902(WS.10).aspx
Basically, I am stuck at step # 3 of creating an AD user synchronization rule
The step says, I need to add the AD MA to the scope in the rule, but for some reason I don't see it.
I did create the Fabrikam HR MA and the Fabrikam AD MA, but in the drop down on the web portal I just see the HR MA and not the AD MA.
I am assuming it has something to do with Admin permissions..
Do I have to login using the domain Admin account to access the AD MA on the web portal, because I am unable to pull up the web portal using the domain admin account, and only able to pull it up when logged in locally on the FIM Server
Please provide suggestions.
Thanks
Praveen
