Up until recently our FIM portal has been working well. However, when I went to use it today I was presented with the IE message "the web page could not be displayed". I took a look at the windows logs and noticed the error “The database WSS_Content on
ComputerName\Microsoft##SSEE is not accessible to missing Windows Internal Database signatures”. I then followed the instructions from this page http://support.microsoft.com/kb/944154?wa=wsignin1.0 in hopes that the issue would be resolved. The 'fix' didn't
fix the issue but it did improve the situation in the fact that I now got an error message in IE indicating some dlls could not be found ( 'Microsoft.IdentityManagement.WebUI.Controls and Microsoft.IdentityManagement.WFExtensionInterfaces). I located these
and placed them in a folder that SharePoint (FIM portal) could find. I now get the error “The resource object with key 'JavaScriptDisabledErrorText' was not found.”. I feel like I am going further and further down a rabbit hole. There has got to be a better
way to fix this issue. Has anyone else experienced a problem like this before and/or have suggestions on how to get the FIM portal back up and running? Cheers
