Making a new object type available in the FIM MA

A fresh install of update 3, a new object type in the FIM schema, can't get it to appear in the FIMMA.

I created an MPR giving the Sync account rights to read and modify the new object type.

Then I went looking for the Synchronization Filter, but there doesn't seem to be a list of object types on it any more, or any way I can add one to it. I've tried looking at it in advanced view, and giving the Administrator rights to All Attributes.

So is there some new way to get a new object type out to the FIM MA?
